The guy was saying the opposite mate, to make sure the fronts are not over biast, not the back ;)
Whats the point in spending money uprating the front brakes then limiting them ? Great way of wasting money...but what do I know ? lol

If I remember mine were off a Silvia 295mm none vented...

I think the whole point of the guy mentioning the bias valve was so that the rears wouldn't be getting limited,, wasting money ;) the point would be to balance it out if required. May be perfect as is though

You have ABS ? that will make sure you dont lock anything....
I did not need to fit a bias valve after fitting the larger front brakes or when I fitted the bigger rear brakes, or when I removed the ABS...and believe you me I used them a dam site harder than most as they were on a competition car..so dont worry just fit the rear bigger brakes and you will notice the diffrence once you drive the car. As I said before it was one of the best value for money mods I ever made..

Right chaps just a quick update I phoned hi spec today and they have a kit which will give you the brackets and 280mmx10mm solid rear disks for £154 plus vat plus 12 for delivery. What do you chaps think the grooved disk kit comes in at 204 plus vat? Any opinions or reviews thanks

Did they say if they would sell the brackets separately? Then all we'd need to do is hunt down red reading and beat him til he told us what the discs are off so we could buy better for the same money haha

i pieced it together in 2011, been running them since
Note i'm using a 2004 Nissan Sentra Spec V (with front brembos) rear disc, as it 4x114 in the bolt pattern compared to the maxima's 5*114. The specs are identical in every other way.

Here is the pad carrier

pads from either car will fit, the carrier is just 12mm shorter as the pulsar has a very short hat height disc.
the standard non gtir discs are 12mm taller in the hat. the pad carrier just moves the caliper in towards the centerline of the car 12mm

or
from the sentra spec v (look for the 4 piston front or 278mm disc)

Do you know if the maxima rear calipers also bolt up and connect ok with the handbrake cable's? Im looking to upgrade and also need a new set of calipers anyways. May aswell just get a full recon maxima caliper set if they are useable.

Essentially was hoping I could just order a pair L/R Power Stop # S2000. To the UK works out $242 ish so near only £150 for full calipers with carriers to suit redriled 278mm maxima discs.?

not sure about the maxima calipers, but the north american p10 infiniti g20 primera CL9HA caliper works. the primera rear right, fits on the gtir left and vice versa. u just need to swap the ebrake mount off the gtir caliper onto the p10 one. else the ebrake cables hang a little low thats about it

Toyota Yaris rear discs 1.0L, 1.3L & 1.4D 2006 - 2011

Diameter

Thick

Min Wear

Width

Center hole

Stud & Locators

Would need a 8mm spacer and center hole opening up, and caliper bracket..

This is for reusing the standard caliper.
