got to agree with pulsarbobby on this one, like i said not had olot of experience on the shimming side of things, but that noise is definately bottom end. id take it back to garage especially if it was ok before it went in. was it like that as soon as you started it up when you picked the car up?

well i drove mine for 8 months with the little ends gone, if its the big ends it wont last long. i know on a fiesta diesel if you shim the cam wrong the valves touch the top of the pistons, not sure if the same can be said about pulsars cos ive never done it wrong, but anything that requires...

ive just watched that link and thats definately a bottom end problem, would of said little ends, not a deep enough knock to be big ends. but its hard when your listening to a video. 8)

i run17s on mine and there terrible for bad roads, yeah they look nice [well i think so] but the profile of the tyre means you feel every bump. roads are really bad in spain, im thinking of changing to 16s to get a bit more of the comfort factor!8)

i had a problem with mine last year, ticking noise, turned out to be little ends gone, i thought it was a problem in the head cos thats where noise was coming from. 8)

anyone out there help me out? im after a set of plastic trims that go on edge of wheelarches, nissan spain wants 80 euro each which is about 300 quid for a set! as much as i love my R im not registered as insane, so i wont be paying that! price has to include postage to southern spain. cheers...
