why not to remove that rear rocker breather and pipework

Great thread! I'm on the verge of removing my engine, to put it into my new shell. I would also like to know, what exactly do I need to remove?

Also, I noticed the car in one of the pics had no oil seperator. Is that because its got an oil catch can?

it basically stops pressurised air entering the brake servo. the check valve only opens under vacuum, making sure the servo is only ever under vaccuum. eg when your off throttle.

i hate to bring this back up again but if you take that pcv out and plug it your gasses will go out the other end where this one comes out into a catch can right?
so theres no need of having this piping on here so its ok just to block it off?

Just make sure you block off the intake to the throttles as well.
