Hi guys, I need to find an easy, preferable close to battery, 12V ignition wire. I need this to wire up my HKS EVC controller.

And I am really stupid, So if you can explain where it can be found in moron terms I would appreciate it, as I don't have amultimeter.

Regards

There is one going to the map sensor, however I don't remember the colour of the wire. You could test with a bulb I guess. The map sensor is the little black box that has a thin black rubber hose that connects to one part, and a plug with three wires.

Pull the plug off, one of the wires is earth, the other signal and one live. If you have a (low wattage 12v) bulb with a couple of wires attached just hold one wire to the negitive battery terminal and touch the other wire to the connections in the plug in turn. When the bulb lights up you've found your switched live.

(Maybe I should add you need the ignition ON to do this, also the map sensor is bolted to the side of the engine bay just in front of the passenger shock tower)
