Has anyone ever had a problem with a sticky throttle?
Just recently in the mornings when ive got in the car the throttle is stuck solid and i hav to really push it hard to un-jam it[:(!]
Also when idling it sticks a 1500rpm until i open the bonnet and push the throttle lever back.
Seems like its a carbon build up or somthing in the butterflys in the throttle bodies??
Ive tryed greasing the linkages but to no avail.[:(]

Any thoughts??

ps - is there a gasket on the plenum or is it alloy face fit with a bit of liguid gasket?? Are they hard to get off??

Cheers lads

You could have the situation of the inner cable fraying as it is made up of many strands,a couple of strands could have broke and are sticking into the inside of the outer cable causing it to stick

Had a similar prob with mine, had to remove plenum and spray carb cleaner at the butterflies, There was some gum or carbon catching the edges
