No need to loop them. Just block them . The flow is static according to the manual.

If it was static how would it work as a cooler ?? as a plumber i was taught to remove all dead legs from a system better to have a loop than two dead legs :lol:No need to loop them. Just block them . The flow is static according to the manual.

do as you please, but it very clear on the workshop manual. Blocking them will not disrupt the flow of the coolant. If it was static how would it work as a cooler ?? as a plumber i was taught to remove all dead legs from a system better to have a loop than two dead legs
So where in the manual does it say you CAN block them off as I'm still searching for the page :doh:do as you please, but it very clear on the workshop manual. Blocking them will not disrupt the flow of the coolant.

Yeah, and arrows showing the coolant flow in and out of it (from the cylinder block into the pump)? Also, if you go to the previous page in the manual there's quite clearly a flow direction marked for the SR20DE cooler. - I admit it doesn't show any flow for the SR20DET one, but I don't see how it would work if it didn't flow through the cooler.Scroll up and find post #23. On post #23 find the text starting with "http" . Using the mouse, hover over it and click on it. This should open another browser window. In the new browser window, you should see 2 images. The lower image is what you should look at. It is a flow diagram of the coolant system. Look very sharp and towards the left you should see a box with text "Oil Cooler"
