No ABS - at all

Hello ladies,

finally have my R on the road and now giving it the t.l.c she deserves. I have been tring out my ABS and wondering it aint workin. Had a look thru the fuse box and its missing the fuses (and the holes to plug into)! I thought they all came with it standard... :? Ideas anyone

mine hasnt , if its a uk spec car it should have it as standard, other than that you can get import ones without abs, mine hasnt got it, look for an abs light on your dash with ignition on

The abs ecu will be behind the passenger side trim and the working bits will be seen under the bonet on the top left labeled nippon abs i think

its not neccessarily a bad thing, you get a better pedal feel without abs and i do find that the system is overly sensitive at times in the wet. (and useless in snow!) if you get uprated brakes and/or bigger wheels the system gets confused and wont work 100% anyway.

the original owner didnt want it for a reason...or maybe he was just a tight bu**er
