What sort of power are you running / wanting to run in the future :?:

I've got a Helix Organic clutch ( ie non paddle ) which is good for at least 350 bhp and is wonderful to drive with ; would definately recommend it.

Handles great power BUT!

It's a pig to use in traffic.

Do you have a girlfriend? If you have get ready to dump her. She's gonna laugh like fuck when ya keep stalling the fecker to get a smooth take off in traffic.

the ap paddle clutch is a good clutch for drag racing as i had 1 in mine when it was running with approx 350lb/ft of torque.

it lasted for approx 20 drag racing launches before it was trasig :wink:

Which part of the clutch failed? Not the cover plate by any chance?

Which type was it? Organic or paddle? If it was organic was it the old one or new one?

the ap paddle can take high revs starts, and after bedding in it is not so bad even in traffic!!once you get used ....

I dont think AP clutch is good...

I want a clutch that lives more than one day at the dragstrip.


no one have time to change the clutch every summer.. :(

come on help me find a good clutch...

do anyone have a SPEC clucht installed?

if you`ve never had an ap clutch,how do you know it`s no good.
the very first time you asked the fuckin question,you asked if the ap was any good.
if you go drag racing,things wear out and break ffs
there isn`t a clutch anywhere in the world that will take 20 drag racing,full on 6k launches without wearing out.
get real!!!!!!

so my hks clutch must be special its taken over 100 6k launches and is still going strong :lol:
