What are you going to be using the car for Alan?I've got a cusco 6 point for mine and to fit it,you really need to remove the roof lining and carpet to make sure you don't damage them and for mounting. To get these out you pretty much have to strip all the interior and my car is basicly a shell inside. It's no longer suitable for rear passengers(what a shame)and is going to be incredibly noisy unless i fit a load of soundproofing(not likely)
I want mine primarily for handling but after what's happened to the Reyland cossie and Bream's Evo,there an essential safety feature if you're really gonna thrape your car on the track/road.
The best ones are weld in but obviouly it's there for good then unless you have an angle grinder  .Bolt ins are more convenient but not as strong.

just dito what what skiddus has said
i plan on mainly using the car as a toy now as i have a cvan to run round in and i do alot of silly speed driving etc and after what has happened to the reyland cossie etc it does seem like common sense to have the best safety
i know some will say just dont go silly in it, but the fact of having a solid frame in a car that is pretty flimsy seems good to me

He rolled it u muppet, go read MLR. Had a blow out on some WRC spec slicks. Its back in one piece now, had a bolt in cage I believe which held it in shape,

I think if you put a cage in and declare it to insurance Co they will whack a hefty premium or refuse to insure it  , had this problem with my Escort, it`s not seen as a safety mod by most but as indication that you are gonna race it
