hehehe so you've got a motec hey ;)

good to see atleast one person on this forum knows GREAT stuff when they see it

rather than buying one controller for fuel, another for boost, yet another for something else etc etc

and yet they dont get launch or even traction control with theirs ;)

top work buddy

Thanks mate it's nice to know there's at least one other member with style and taste and not just a load of hopeless no brainer's(oap-r) as I had thought  .

Rob

ps and there's nothing wrong with the cold start :? It's the cold running for the first 5 min that's the only problem  .

i`d hate to disappoint

if it was that good,it`d be good all thru the range no matter the temp

should`ve got a decent ecu like power fc

Well let's talk motec shall we old fella  .

Let's just say we put your car next to one exactley the same mod for mod
except you have a Power FC and the other has a motec which one would be faster run better and have more power and torque??????.

I shall await your answer with baited breath   .

well it won't be bruces as he won't have a clutch or gearbox that works

cause i got way tooooo much torque, with more to come  :D

cold running for the 1st 5 mins, that`s all we have to say as we don`t have any problems there  unlike some ecu`s we could mention

More to come eh?

do tell, i thought you had other plans for the car

it`s only had 2 mapping sessions and is still on the conservative ignition map.

i probably will get rid but i`ve got to get the transmission right 1st

There's no problem at all with the motec cold running  mine just need's more time being mapped that's all and when It's back on the road in a few weeks(I hope) I will have it mapped out so that it run's perfect.

Oh and you didn't answer the question matey  :?

there wouldn`t be that much of a difference in power or torque to justify the extra expense of going for a motec over an fc 8)

the power fc will probably run better as the cold start/running problems with the motec are well documented even tho there have been some top mappers involved :?

i hope you`re are not going to start getting all narked about this thread as you were the one that started it with all this "mines better than yours bollox"

I not going to get upset at all matey and I never said mine was better than anybody's :? ..... I started the thread as a matter of interest that's all. As this is the tuning section I believe.... And I'd never seen the hole spec myself, I found it when I was down loading some upgrade's for my
Motec off there site that's all.....

And just because your not interested does not mean other people are not. So as your not butt out of it  .
