Queue Nikko.....

Realistically 1100kg is a better aim for you, unless you go all out with carbon fibre panels everywhere (££££) and completely remove EVERYTHING you won't need. Good shit though, let us know how you get along 8)

remove dash
replace all body panels with fibre glass (or carbon fibre if you`re feelin flush)
get hair cut (it all helps)
remove all but one seat and swap the drivers for a carbon fibre bride one
carbon steeing wheel
carbon gear knob
remove all green neon kits from underside of car (don`t pretend like you aint got em)

i`ve just took the engine out of mine and its light as a carbon fibre feather, but that would only work if you`re making the car lighter just to make it lighter not faster :?

ive lost about 120-140kg from my car but its not livable to drive every day
trust me...the road noise is deafening...and the car was being towed....no engine on! Imagine it with the engine at full song...ear plugs 8)

did you lighten all the brackets that held the air con and every other bracket as they are all over engineered
remove the front anti-roll bar  trust me you`ll never notice it`s gone
lightweight nuts, bolts, washers.a gram or 2 from every nut, bolt and washer will soon mount up but will be expensive
aerospace/F1 spec engine wiring loom  will save a couple of kg`s

well if you get stuck in a snow drift or summat - at least you won't starve to death.

I'd advise wearing a pair of those g@y driving gloves to stop ur sweaty palms making it go soggy though

could you make some polycarb rear quarter windows. should not cost too much.

do the same to the rear hatch as you have done to the doors.

There's only ONE way to loose weight and thats loose metal.........
you better get the drill out and start to swish cheese the inside of your panels

seen it done on a stripped out GTiR and it looks mad once done

you thought about changing all your windows for that clear plastic (forget its name) like in some rally cars?

Body panels in fibreglass would potentially give you the biggest weight loss I would imagine.... have a look into changing your wings and also the possibility of the boot as well  maybe remove the spoiler (although I know you won't want to) as I imagine thats pretty heavy.
