good spec grey r for sale (scotland) PICS ADDED

seen a car i fancy so could do with this going asap.

1990 h plate grey
86k miles
owned by me for just over 3 years,43k on it when i got it.
its the RB spec so pretty rare but no short ratio box:cry:
16" white enkei wheels recently refurbed and like new, nice rare wheels
recaro seats
cusco front and rear braces
kyb sr suspension with lowering springs and cusco pillowball front top mounts
goose down pipe with decat and scorpion cat back exhaust so nice and quiet and all stainless
evo front brakes with 280 mm disks
r33gtr front mount intercooler with hybrid pipes
stage 1 hybrid turbo about 1 year old with bigger comp wheel
hks ind kit
sard bov
hks boost gauge
exedy 6 paddle clutch with lightweight flywheel,no launches
wind deflectors
mot till july i think and tax till end jan
toad cat 1 alarm
all mot's from when it was imported
running at 1.1bar so should be about the 300bhp mark, prob just over
walbro fuel pump
colder plugs
front bumper guard

the car runs spot on and has been my daily driver the last 3 years with the only real problem being having to do the clutch.4 wheel alighnment done recently.pulls smooth,no smoke etc and starts first time.good oil pressure and good vacume at idle.

bad bits

only bad bits for me is back arches starting to rust as usual.front wings are rusting in the corners but 2 wings will be included but need painting.some rust on driver door at botton and scratch on rear quarter.very slight crunch going into 2nd but this has never got worse in 3 years and not that bad anyway.

all in all its a decent car that drives pretty spot on.i have never launched the car etc and the oil has been done about every 4k.only reason i want to sell is seen a car local i want but would have to sell this first to get it.all this car needs is a tidy up to make it mint and it has a decent reliable spec.wil get pics up on friday when i can take pics in daylight.

£3200 ono

The Evo 6 has dropped in price recently seen some for as low as £8k ( I paid £12k)the Evo 5 would have been a good buy.

The GT4 is a nice car and has a good enigne and gearbox  Just a shame it is a bit slow. All the front Arms OK? I know they are expensive to replace.

Come on folks someone buy the lads & of course laddies car off him ;)

eye there fine for now at least.not so sure about the clutch thou:roll: .i know the celica will never be as much fun or as quick as the r but i can always get an r again in the future;-) the gt4 was only 1/3 the price of a cheap evo 6 also so that was a bit of a deciding factor.

never got a chance to get pics today as im putting in a new kitchen:roll: .it will be going on pistonheads when i do.looking at prices you dont seem to get much for 3k.i would say its a decent spec for the money and about as quick a car as you will get for the money.my gt4 feels slow as fook compared to it.

my r had a stg1 norris engine ,gt28 roller bearing turbo, greedy boost controller ,turbo timer, front and rear cusco strut braces, organic clutch, group a fuel pum ,up rated suspension, that pillow ball top mount thingys for adj. camber, and the best bit 4 pot hi spec barkes with two piece rotors,it's not the prettiest 'r but for the money i bought it for(£2400) i thought it was a steal even though i had to go all the way to bloody cardiff for it,saying that mate your 'r is well specced as well and at good money somebody will get a good honest car there by the sounds of it...the thing is they're not exactly a common sight on our roads now,i myself was contempleting on a gt4 an earlier one though...but i've always loved the look of the 'r i rember seeing my first one years ago when they first came on the go it was in a garage called sunny hill motors in turrif these guys always have tasty motors(prince nassem bought a early evo of the guy it was at the very start of people importing cars to uk,i mean when people started cottoning on to the fact that it could be done !!)yeah any way i rember seeing the 'r sat there and instaly thinkinking wot the **** is that ..it looks evil,i was running a phase 1 309 gti at the time(lovely car interior was ****ing lush really comfy and it was seen as a quick car back in the day albeit with it's 130 bhp!!lol handled like fook though)

total bargains like that do pop up from time to time.the gt4 is nowhere near as fast/fun to rag but its a nice smooth car to drive compared to a lightweight small hatch.i use it as a daily driver and think it has decent bits on it to take some abuse and still stay in one peice.

I guaruntee that you'll not regret the purchase of teh GT-Four, once you've done a few choice mods to it.
Get yourself and Aussie 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust, a decent induction kit. Lag the charge cooler and remove the stock boost control and up the boost to 1.2 bar and it will be a little rocket ship.
I could keep up with a well driven Evo 6 TME and I was only running at 14 psi of boost , with 1 extra passenger in my WRC spec GT-Four. With 1.2 bar, you'll be pushing an Evo 6 along and it will brake and go round corners just as well too. ;-)

not driven it much yet but the brakes do seem pretty good.
Even with just the OE jobs, mine used to stand on it's nose. I do wish it had ABS though (an option not taken by the original owner) as, I'd probably still have it now, if it did !
