1.2 bar question

I don't understand why people get in such a flap over running 1.2 bar! Yes it'll shorten the life of a standard turbo but the standard maf and injectors will take that all day long, and as long as your engine is in good condition and you've got no other fuelling issues it'll last for years at that boost level ;-)

I thought people had moved on from 1 bar ages ago :shock: Coming on here and reading stuff like this is almost like going back in time 5 or 6 years :lol:

I have heard from various other forums I will not mention no names but that 1.4 bar is possible from stock internals and yes no remaps!
At the end of the day you will believe what you beleive!

at 1.2bar the maf is maxed out and the injectors are running 100% (on my car)
agreed this does make it run less than 10 AFR, but only just IIRC, really think you need 550cc`s to run at 300 bhp at safely 80%

My spec is same as above appart from the FMIC. When on the rollers the ECU would only fuel for 1.1 bar
