Yorkshires best roads

After TOTB we stayed up in Whitby near York. Took the Mon and Tue off work and hammered some awesome roads on the Yorkshire Moors and Dales.

Eerm, I also proved that D2 coilovers can cope with jumping the car :-D, although my back still hurts .

Anyway, anyone who lives up there, you're a lucky bunch, bloody brilliant roads. Unlike Wales nowadays there are few (if any) speed cameras on the moors and few coppers about - not that I want to drive like an idiot, but just nice to find a place thats still a bit free to enjoy your car.

Added another 1300 miles to the clock, but all worth it.

There are no fixed speed cameras in North Yorkshire.

Imagine what fun I used to have driving form North Yorkshire over the Scottish borders (A68 ) to Dundee every 4 weeks.

and I know this is in Cumbria - but this is awsome. Sometimes though Mr Plod stakes the place out to catch the big Sunday Run bikes - try it at night ;-)
