I assume you've done cables and plugs so my favourite would be the CAS playing up. As the engine revs the single can suddenly drop off which sounds like a rev limiter but it's just the car doesn't know when to fire the spark so get's it wrong.
I've seen this on a few PFC's but the standard ECU seemed to be more resiliant to dodgy CAS. It could just be the bolt holding the CAS together has come loose so at thigher revs the CAS starts to slip which has the same effect.
So far ive changed plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, maf (also tried re-earthing it), and yesterday the distributor with no luck. However i took the tps off today out of desperation and since putting it back on the car revs fine, although it has started to randomly stall again :evil:
