What info does the gauge display mate ?

I'd normally expect the 'ign' wire on a gauge, to be connected to a ignition switched power point !

what you mean what info it displays mate?ive got a red wire which needs to go 12vbattary,orange for ing,white which needs to be connected to the side lamps,then black for earth

There's pdf instruction manuals on there for the Defi link unit and all the gauges !

And you need to connect that 'ign' cable, to a decent ignition switched source... Like the cable coming off the ignition barrel !

Erm.... the big red one... :lol:

Sorry mate, I don't know off the top of my head !

Your best bet is to get a multi meter and go probing !

why would you need to connect the ign wire,when your already wiring the 12v one which will make the gauge cone on/off anyway

I think it's because the permanent 12v +ve is for the gauge memory and the 'ign' is for the normal ignition switched power.

Doesn't it have a 'replay' function ?
