It's sad to see cars like this being fragged because the market isn't there to sell it as a whole.....especially when it's easy to see how much effort has gone into putting a car like this together.

I agree.

Time of year does not help. It's easier to sell modded cars from march to aug/sept as the weather is better and people generally have more money to spend at that time and more enthusiasm

even though id like to buy the shell!id still think id wait till the spring before you even think about breaking it.also dont think you would get much more than 6000 if it was to be broken up and sold as parts

my old widearch trackcar went up for 8k 2 years ago and that had quaife, big brakes plus a norris lump in it......could i sell it nooooo! sometimes the only option is to break them if they wont sell.

tbh though as said you woul really struggle to pull in 4k on that car let alone 6 as someone mentioned
theres just not enough good bits on it unfortunately, the shells nice though

i dont think i wanna go bellow 5.5k. Its hard to judge what a car is worth so you gotta start somewhere.
Also i think the price can really affect to what you wanna get next...

its getting it back(money) but bide your time the right buyer is out there somewhere parts etc are what make you the money back fast but there are a small number of buyers who appreciate more so if they can not do the work themselfs theamount of cost and man hours that go into a build

like the hours of the seam welding or blow thru maf. i dont think its appreciated so that's why prices are dropped. :(

i agree with you, its a lot of time and work gone into that car, its just a shame that people over here dont appreciate or want to pay the money
as danny says i reckon you have a better chance of advertising it abroad and flogging it, dont forget its a bad time of year also to flog a car, maybe if you can keep it till spring then youll have a better chnce of getting rid of her
