What have you done to your car today?

GP ones would not be easy to make but as the backs would be hollow slightly tricky to attach, if you see what I mean.

Ask him if he's make them from GRP too, as I cba with carbon as they would be painted over anyway carbon would be pointless on my car!

Ill ask mate, but he seems to make alot of carbon parts.
I think hes also a compbrake and gaz dealer...

carbon parts might get expensive as i guess the fronts and trim around the car would also need changed to match the rear.

Carbon, GRP, GF whats the differance ,,,apart from the silly price for Carbon and bragging rights at the pub...the fact is if you make a mould the the back will be Hollow other wise you cant get the material into that shape...they are piss easy to make but tricky to fit. Unless you filled the back with expandable foam then stuck them on?

Yes silicone is possible or any other suitable glue, but as I said no matter how you MOLD them vacum, Hover or f*cking dyson them the back will still be HOLLOW...

One other idea is you 3D print them...then they would be solid.....anybody got one? I think they are under a thousand now..Lol.

Sounds like a workable solution to me. - Even silicone to give it a bit of adhesion?

Yeah sure was. That car was a proper marvel of engineering and even though its french, you have to appreciate the time, money and effort that went into that car.

So who owns the red pulsar thats at HQ Performance at the moment? i had a nosey under it today when i was in their workshop.

Yes just like the origanal. Make a jig and use proper fixings so they can bolt on and off, dont see what the deal is here

You could mold them then fill with resin plus you could add the bolts as you did that....but who in there right minds would go to all that faff for 4 bits of trim, materials would be low but time and the effort of making the moulds and jig ? its not worth even thinking about. But carry on if you think its worth it..
