Well, if weight is an issue then ditch the cooler altogether and go for a pure WI/methanol injection setup.You could get a really smooth piperun this way and put the tank/pump etc behind the drivers/passenger seat.Totally impractical for everyday use but perfect for sprinting, especially with a high methanol%.
You can also inject before the compressor to further cool the charge but this does damage the turbo eventually(water mist hitting something spinning at 100,000rpm).But if you are doing very limited mileage then its not so bad.
