Turbo choice advice needed!

alot of the fwd sr20 guys swear by having bigger turbos, slightly more lag actually helps them get traction as the car is moving fairly well before the turbo spools fully.

make sense ?

That makes sense... Never really thought of it like that before...

So Biger turbo = more traction + more power = quicker times... 8)

That's sorted then. Fit the 3076 and let's see what happens

2871 will do 400 pushed very very hard i have a dyno sheet somewhere showing my old car at 390 at 1.3-4 bar built engine with flowed head throttle bodies etc
dont think bhp would have risen much after that but torque should have showed a healthy increase

I had 390+ bhp & 365ftlb out of my 2871 (.86ar) @ 1.5 bar, got the sheet somewhere, but you could feel the power level off in the higher rev's unlike the 3071 I have on now that just keeps pulling hard in every gear.
