Turbo advise needed!!!

I have a fairly standard GTI-R, other than mongoose exhaust, dump valve etc and am needing some good advise on what to do with my poorly standard turbo? It is on its last legs  it is whistleling louder each day and its loosing power and oil!! Should i go for a new turbo? if so which one? (bearing in mind i only have a reasonable budget). Should I recon my turbo myself? If so Where do I find the parts? Or would it be best to send it away for reconditioning or part ex??? Any advise would be very much appreciated. If I get a better unit is there any other mods I would need to do or is this engine good for a bit more turbo pressure without mods?

yeah goes strait on no bother I only had it on for a while running
at 1.2 bar and found it just seemed to pull a little harder and longer
still has the same lag as a standard turbo 8)

is 1.2 ok? I quite like the lag, it wouldn't feel like a turbo without it!!!
Hope he replies soon cos i really could do with it before my one goes bang :(

the turbo is ratted to 1.6 bar I think thats why norris use
it as part of there nd 370 hp motor.

is it set at 1.2 bar? will my car run ok with this increase in boost? or will i have to alter or change anything?

To run that sort of boost you'd almost definitely need an upgraded fuel pump, possibly different spark plugs and a fuel controller.

And if you have a standard clutch it will soon die so budget for an upgraded clutch too.
