My friend has just got his new manifold ceramic coated for his 5 turbo.

The ceramic coating doesn’t take alot to chip off, is yours like that?

ceramic coating on stainless steel tubular manifolds will chip easily. This is because stainless expands and contracts quite alot when it gets hot and cool. Mild and carbon steel manifolds arent as prone to their ceramic coating chipping as they dont expand and contract as much.
