For future reference to help anyone who might be a little confused, I managed to get a rather good shot of the offending Bastard Bolt (pictured below, the bolt nearest the bottom of the picture);
The cylinder on the left is the speedo sensor. You can find this part of the car directly under the plenum (inlet manifold).
