34 restricter limits air going into turbo shouldn’t be getting anymore than 300 with one fitted
I’m with Johnny on turbo size
My car has 2860 with the 34mm restricter last time it was on a rolling road it did 221 bhp and 256 ft/lbs at the wheels
Virtually no turbo lag power does tail away at 5000rpm will rev more but not much point

I was more than happy with 280/280 flywheel with the restrictor, it feels quick once its wound up. Mine also tails off at 5K due no doubt
to the restrictor. The good thing about a lower power is that the transmission has an easier life, wouldn't want to be rebuilding my quaife box too often........

Quite right, moderate power, gentle boost only 1.1 to 1.2 max (280 and 300)
Standard bottom end was 'new' (recon) when I started the car build all those years ago.
Sticky tyres and super brakes mean the car gets a hard time, relatively.
Dont want to break those ring lands, for sure.
Quaife box and helix clutch keep the transmission sensible
