standard ignition system

what are the week points in the standard ecu with regards to ignition timing and the timing curve ?
whats it limitations ?

i was thinking about keeping my standard ecu and ,just change the fuel side,and map the fuel ???

I think the standard ignition map is pretty conservative, ie it errs on the safe side, not performance side. Some people have had a lot of success with putting in another couple of degrees advance ( Pulsar is one of the few EFI cars that you can do this on )

Best just do your fuel and make sure you are not detting on a RR, but you do have a couple of degrees to play with.
