Are they known for warping? We all know heads can warp but can the block warp too or, are they known to?

anyone heard of or had the experience?

In a word, yes.

Mine wasn't too bad, but you should have a scrape test to see if the block and head are warped?

You should have both the head and block skimmed to be sure, especially if your using a metal head gasket!

Thanks you two. I suppose I should get both the buggers skimmed then. I don’t want to take the engine out thrice. Otherwise I might be the first person to take Stu’s advice and just set it on fire.
