Speedometer Cable Help

I have an imported Beta version RNN14 from Japan, it arrived with the speedo cable coming out into the passenger's foot well from the transmission. I've torn apart most of the interior trying to find where it plugs into, including the meter cluster. Where does the speedo cable connect to on a RNN14?

This one does, it must've been for the rally computer it used to have or some other modification the previous owner performed. So I guess I need a speedo sensor...

Yeah.
Is your speedo working? If not, it's quite often down to a dodgy delimiter.

No the speedo is not working. I just assumed if there was a speedo cable installed that it's probably hooked up to the same spot as the speedo sensor usually goes.

you mean it is actually a speedo drive cable that spins round??

if so, there was probably an in car sensor it plugged into to drive an aftermarket speedo or something.

makes you wonder about the mileage on the clocks though - but then that applies for most imports!

follow it back and see where it goes in the engine bay - probably has been fitted as a direct replacement for the electronic sensor.

do all your other clocks work apart from the speedo?
