speedo and speed controler problems!

I recently bought a gtir that has just been shiped over, The company that sorted it for me put it through its tests and got it on the road. Unfortunatly when i put my foot down, as soon as i get to 100 the speed just dies? it goes back round to 0 and that is it. i will come back into life after about 30 mins and when i slow right down. Has anyone got any idias.

Also in the boot of the car is a pivot SML-M speed controler. Unfortunatly all i have is the unit with the wires out of the back. If any one has any details or wireing diagrams for it i would be grateful.

I have the same problem, just noticed it earlier but it drops to 0 when i hit about 90mph.

Don't know what it is yet though.
