Here is what i asked or Arias pistons.

Hi,
I am in need of a set of pistons for my Nissan Pulsar GTi-R. This is a JDM
vehicle and motor. That being said Jim Wolf Technologies offers pistons
for my applications which are fabricated by your company. JWT does not
offer higher compression pistons nor will they liase with you on my behalf
to produce these. I am sure you will have information on the pistons which
they offer for my motor. I am forced to get the information i can on my
own. I can only give you the information below as i cannot measure the
other information (Secifically the block and cam specs). Also there will
need to be a notch on the piston skirt to clear the oil piston quirters. I
have attatched a picture of the stock piston with the notch.

Head gasket thickness: 0.055 inches
Piston Type: dish
Pin diameter: 7/8ths inches
Pin length: 2.75 inches
Pin quantity: 4
Pin usage: I would like extreme as this will be a high rpm, high boost and
nitrous motor
Piston application: Road race, drag and street/strip
Engine specifications:
: Fuel type: Gasoline
: Nitrous: 100hp shot
Motor type: Electronic Fuel Injection, DOHC
: Turbocharged: 30psi
Purchasing rings: Yes
: Quantity of sets: 4
Cylinder head infotmation:
:Combustion chamber CC's: 50cc's
:Intake valve diameter: 34mm
:Exhaust valve diameter: 30mm
Cam shaft specifications: Solid
: The cams are advertised as 0.444inch
lift and 260* duration, i do not know any more info on them.

Thanks for any help you can offer. If needed i can send you a stock piston
for you to go off of. If you can help with the info i have provided please
provide me with a price on a set of 4 of these pistons.

Regards,
Nikko Miller

PISTONS FOR THAT ENGINE WOULD HAVE TO BE CUSTOM MADE. THE RETAIL PRICE FOR
THEM IS APPROX. $145.00 PER CYLINDER COMPLETE WITH PISTONS, PINS, RINGS, AND
LOCKS. THEY WOULD TAKE APPROX. 4-5 WEEKS TO BE MADE. THE MINIMUM ORDER FOR
CUSTOM PISTONS IS FOUR. I SHOULD HAVE MOST OF THE INFO TO MAKE THEM ALREADY
HERE BUT IF WE ARE GOING FOR A HIGH COMPRESSION RATION THEN WE MAY NEED
EITHER THE HEAD OR A COMBUSTION CHAMBER MOLD.

its not actually engine managment that they have classes on...it looks like racing dynamics on a whole. Not things i am interested in at present btu will be in the future.

Here is some more info on them any way

http://www.motec.com/semnars/claude_seminars.htm

ohh and im not using a Motec ECU but the tuning principals will be the same no matter what system you use.

very advisable, motec seminars are extremely valuable, features include vehicle dynamics and data acquisition (spelling? lol) very handy esp if you want to get the most out of your car

runs for 2 - 3 full days well worth it
