slave cylinder rubber

just noticed that the rubber gaitor on the clutch slave cylinder has come off
does this make a difference?
iv also found 2 spare ones in the boot of my car

what shouldi do guys

Call your mechanic?

Just replace it, it's only a dust cover I assume, to stop crap getting on the rod and damaging the seal.
