Its for over run, pulsars will often idle 900-1300 so you just want it out of the way of that area. The value I gave you is typical of what most OEM ecus are.

I've found anything above about 1400 will work fine. I have mine set to 6000 It never fuel cuts on overrun and I get lovely chavvy pops and bangs when I'm decelerating :lol:

You can make the stock ecu do that by unplugging the TPS sensor hahaha
