You wouldn't see any ballooning on the sort of pressure coming out of our turbos. If you were running at a few hundred psi :shock: you might but not at 15 to 25 psi ! Aren't the Samco intercooler bends 3 ply ?! That's pretty well engineered for the job in hand. However, it's clear that it's best to have as much of the pipe run be steel/aluminium pipe and minimise the use of silicon hoses for joining only. Otherwise you will have constantly changing diameters :wink:

Maybe not balloon but it will expand it has to being flexable.

A hard pipe replacement wont that's all I'm saying, I think It was very lazy of forge to not make the pipework all alloy as after all the are a
fabrication company after all :? :roll: :cry: .

It will if it is too long ! Plus the fact there is all the changing in pipe diameter. The charge won't know what it's doing, speed up, slow down, speed up.... :D
Does seem a bit strange but, should be fairly easy to get some made up somewhere. Are you anywhere near Essex ? I'm sure Hayward & Scott would be able to do it !
