I didn't think it was that bad, and as Carl said it's not actually structural. - They weren't squashed flat or anything, just visibly damaged where the tester had put the lift points when he tested it... but as that was within inches of the ARM mounting point it was a failure. In fairness I thought the first test was bullsh!t so I got it retested elsewhere and it failed again (but quite a few of the other failures didn't come up again); my mistake was thinking if they'll give a Scooby an easy test, they'd do the same for a Pulsar.
To cap it off, I had to have the floor hammered flat before I could get them welded in... that was bent from people lifting in the wrong spot too.
I'm not looking forward to this year, but I figure it can't fail on that again.
