Oil pump removal and re-fitting whilst engine is in car!!!

Hi, i am having oil pressure problems on startup, when oil pressure is achieved the car runs sweet as a nut, well as sweet as can be for a 65k standard engine which has ran a bar of boost most of its life!!!


Is it possible to replace the pump without removing the engine, i have searched high and low throughout the forums and have had no luck.


Help is appreciated, jeff :wink: :wink:

:wink: If i remember mate,there is a reply to one of my posts that a member has done it in situe,and was going to do a 'How To',so it can be done,just cant remember who it was who posted it :lol: :oops:

it was taking a canny few seconds to build up pressure, now its on around 15 ish, i dont wanna try it again as i know it is not good for it at all, looks like my bank holiday has been swept from under my feet :(
