oil pressure

My car seems to be running a little high on pressure I think.

Sits on about 4 with normal driving, and shoots right up when I put my foot down.

I'm sure it didn't use to run this high, any ideas????

:lol: a search mate, i read it is normal to have a slightly high oil pressure, pressure relief valves also seem to be sticking lately, try that, jeff.

i have the opposite problem... mine sits around 2 bar for normal driving, goes up to 4ish at 100kmh... is this normal?!

Have you checked your oil levels recently, sounds like it may be low.
