O2 sensor again

They are both measuring coolant temp. The gauge sender unit for the dash is on the same elbow just a few cms on. Does the exhaust pop when you are driving? If so then this is usually a sign thst the engine temp sensor needs to be renewed.

No popping pal..

so theres two sensors one goes to the ecu? One to gauge?

I think they are fine because i am getting correct readings 90 degrees from the sensor.. And halfway on the gauge..


I don't think it is that...

What else could it be possibly boost leak? What's the easiest way of checking for a leak so many vacuum hoses

The way to know if the temp sensor is knackered is if the fans are running or not. If the ECU picks up a failed temp sensor, it turns on the fans just in case.
