Number Plate Sizes?

There will only be one size square plate that's legal. Whoever is making the plate will know.

Anybody know where to get a new rear type plate for the R from cos all the usual only have the standard square one now?

This maybe a silly question but does anyone know the difference between the square number plate and the long rectangle one? Is the rectangle one on the newer models only??

square plate on imports and rectangular plates are on all UK supplied cars

Going by the sizes given on that site, the size of my number plate (if I worked it out right) can be a min of 382mm by 82mm which is as near as dammit the size of the space on the bumper for the jap plate.[]

To save people searching official JAP plate size is 330mm x 175mm.
