Advise needed ! The car has been stood for a couple of months until yesterday. It started 1st time but seemed hesitant/missing when reved and smoked(black) a little. I decided to do a compression check and clean the dizzy cap and rotor. It then refused to start altogether:doh: , I appear to have fuel but no spark. I have replaced the cap and rotor as they had seen better days but still no joy.I have checked the plugs and the earths but still nothing. There are no error codes.Any ideas before i start replacing the coil, dizzy ect

It could be down to stale fuel in the lines wetting the sparkplugs.Try removing them and allowing them to dry out for a few hours, this will also give the cylinders chance to dry out too as the excess fuel will evaporate.Clean the plugs with a wire brush when dry, replace and try again.
