Spend about 2 hours splicing an emanage into the ecu loom,

sat on the floor with my head in the footwell scraping bits of insulation off the cables.

when i finished, i wondered if i could have removed the loom

somebody please tell me you cant:roll:

do you mean unplug the socket from the ecu ?yes you could have .

Don't think the whole looms comes out tho

unplugged the socket (after pi**ing about with a 10mm spanner and about 1000 1 degree turns, lol)

but there is still not a lot of room to play

anyway it done, started up ok, so gonna get the laptop on it tonight and have a play.

try and sort out my less than 10 AFR almost throughout the whole rev range under load !! gonna set it at 11 AFR I think as I dont have det cans

Why didnt you just undo the 4 screws that hold the ecu in place and take the whole lot out :mong:

Also why didnt you just use a 10mm ratchet on the nut? Undone in seconds :lol:

oh I see its like that is it!

I did undo the 4 screws, but the ecu wont come out cause of the air pipes above

therefore couldnt get a 10mm ratchet on (I could only find long sockets)
