like yourself steve i was looking into buying either an ultima or noble m400 but was of the same opinion as you....other than track use its that type of car you cant leave anywhere without some little scrote bag keying it or vandalising it just for the sheer hell of it.

if i had gone out anywhere in it i would have been worried sick that something was gonna happen to it if left and that alone would have ruined the day.
these cars cost around 35-40k which is a lot of money unless your well minted and moneys of no object, then you would just go out and buy a new one anyway!

I just thought that a vtec mini build would be a relatively easy and fun thing to do and the end result would be something fun to drive, be quick without being a mong magnet

and now because I'm sitting here looking at my engine and transfer box on a pallet I'm wondering that with one of these AWD kits that the pulsar engine and transmission could be housed in the mini.

I'd use a standard box and a standard ish size turbo to give me about 300 break.

What do you think ?

why not make a 4wd mini with 2 bike engines? 12000rpm, sequential stright cut gearbox's,280+bhp per pair then the option of tuning/turbo/super charging up to 1400bhp (in a mini?!) .Might be lighter than the honda crv running gear too
