i had the flange faces skimmend true so sits flush on the block but dont want to fit if its going to snap,ni thought welding a huge brace would resolve it snapping, thats shit then standard will have to go back on!

The manifold gets white hot at times and will expand and contract. Fixing a huge brace will only put more stress on it and will crack from somewhere else.

mani has been slung to rear of the shed and standard cast is bolted back on!!!

its a shame as I think with the setup you have it will always be nicer to have a tubular manifold, but with all that weight might aswell just stay with the stock one as its going to be fine, just polish the heat shield lol
