Misfire after going through big puddle

Where's the water most likely to get into the electrics and cause a misfire. My neighbours car didn't like the puddle he went though. :?
I suggested the plug well to him, but I think it's probably somewhere else, cos it's missing 2 days later.

Still missing after 2 days thought running the engine should dry it out.
Personally I'd WD40 the entire ignition system

That was my first question when I saw him today "Has it dried out?" Then he revved it :?
I was wondering if the force of the water could have upset something like the AFM?!?

If he managed to suck some into the intake he could have bent something inside...££££

:D Try removing the distributor cap as they are not as watertight as you might think, and they don't dry out without help :!:
