How To modify front bumper

guys,

does anyone know a good way to modify the freont bumper. What i want to do is cut out the centre to show the fmic. is there a good way of doing this? can it be done at home? will i have to use filler etc to do the job?

or is it really a body specialist job.
any hints clues are very appreciated

Its easy fella, Just use a very sharp knife around the edge of the middle bit and keep going over it until it cuts through, It should all come out as one big bit, Then a quick rub down on the edge's should see the job done with no need for paint or anything.

I defo wouldn't be paying anybody to do it for me.

Yep use a jigsaw and allow a mm or so away from the "line" that you can make out(you'll see what i mean)
then finish it off with a file/knife etc to make a smooth straight line all round.

The chaps are correct, it's not worth paying someone to do. Just take your time and get in right. No point in rushing and then trawling eBay for a new front bumper.

If you are looking to mesh the front you will find it easier to take the bumper off. Another easy job to do over a rainy weekend. Plus it would give you the opportunity to take a few pics of the sexy front mount with the bumper off. It will look hard as nails, mmmmmm.
