How do you remove the ROTOR ARM?

is it just a simple screw? or is there some method involved?

Just undo the screw and pull it off. You might have to give it a bit of a wiggle but it should come off ok.

I remember on a previous car I had, I didn't know about the screw holding it on and thought it was just a push fit. When I'd stopped the car the screw was facing to the back of the engine so i didn't even see it. Anyway, one large screwdriver and lots of shattered plastic later, I found the screw... hehe

I think it's a grub screw, allen key required.

I’ve got a crack in my Distributor cap, so im changing that, is it a good idea to change the rotor arm while im at it, or is there no point?

depends on how worn the arm is, but you might as well replace it if your taking the cap off anyway, they only cost a few pennies
