High Idle

Hi all
Right this high idle effing problem came back to mine again and I
thought ok, I AM gonna beat you so have just spent nearly 4 hours
unbolting sealing fondling and god knows what else and then ...
pushed down on the maf plug hard... normal idle! so after 3 years I think
I have found the real culprit (DV leaked once which caused it for a while) :D :D

Frank, sorted out my idle problem today and it was the maf, but now it idles at 1500 lol. Will push that bugger in :twisted:

Was trying to sort mine for ages too (even took it to Hiteq), but only recently notices the pipe running to the boost gauge sensor was split, letting air in. I cut off the end and stuck it back on and voila, 1000rpm idle...

They're the sort of problem you don't mind getting :lol:

Wonder how long / how much Nissan would charge for the same diagnosis ?

Where is this pipe m8???

It runs into the fuel pressure regulator on the end of the fuel rail (from memory). on the right side of the engine at the top. I'll try and e-mail you a pic if you can't find it.
