hi spec and 17s

jus wondered what offset i can get away with, got a set of hi spec 300mm brakes up front, any ideas?????????

found a set of rota 17inch on a 45 offset, wondering are they ok for me, or is the offset to high? and does the c/bore count much?

I'm running a set of 45 offset Rota Boost rims, 7.5J with 5mm spacers (to clear the rear struts). They clear my HiSpec 6-pots.

you should get away with any 17s with 300 discs! 15s you will have problems with but not 17s

It's not generally the disks that are the problem, it's the spoke/caliper clearance.

Edit: To be fair though, HiSpec calipers are pretty skinny. Unlike the Godspeed jobbies that I had on my last Pulsar. Trying to find a set of rims with spokes that would clear those feckers... :roll:

another thing was the c/bore, does this play a big role in what wheels i get?

Most new wheels will come with spigot rings to make the c/bore the right size. As long as you tell the wheel supplier what they're for obviously.
