As u can all see from the pic the front is too low slamming the ground and the rear is sticking up like a drag car, just fitted yesterday, my question is will the back get lower and the front higher, how long and who else has them?
But they do handle great, much better but iam like scrapping every road hump, lucky i have the sump guard.

good question edd not sure how do i find out, ask the guy who fitted? Or would he get angry with me?

ahh that's ok you didn't fit them

well the struts are different lengths, so if fitted wrong it might make the front lower than it should be, and the back higher than it should be, which is what yours does look like

i would ask him if he checked he fitted the rears as im sure they are different lengths.

I would have thought the front sprigns would have higher poundage due to weight of engine, so it would be dangerous if they fitted them wrong :(

He said all is right the engine is heavy so the front will go low first but get some fat people in the back or put heavy items and the back will eventually go down, and cause thay are progressive it will take upto a month to settle down.

Don't worry 20legacy :)
I done a lowering conversion on few of my cars & had the same effect - hod rod stylie.. it is coz the engines a tad heavy but if its done correctly & not scrapping too much  (our roads are crap any how, car lowered or not too many humps & bumps all over the place destroy our cars  ) on a circuit or track I'm sure round corners your car should be the nutz & feel absolutly sweet. 8) try it out some day if you can

But having seen other cars with Dow Max springs, that does look completely wrong. Well if Ginga can get the struts the wrong way around...

Heres another pic, i just want to make sure that the back end will go down, i'll take it to another specialist tommorrow. Turblio did u get them fitted or was it on when u got the car.

just one more question, if the springs were fitted the wrong way round can they be removed and re fitted right or would they be useless once used once? And can it be possible that they were fitted the wrong way or are the springs different sizes?

there shouldn't be any damage to the springs if they've been fitted the wrong way around, you'll just get the odd ride height prblems you have got.

Well thanks alot guys you are all really helpful, after our discussion i decided to go to another garage near my work place and they confirmed the springs were fitted the wrong way round :x  , but kindly they refitted it for me :D , now the car is perfect and looks nicely lowered like turblio's car.
I then proceeded to phone my original tunner to let him know, he goes o u should have come back and i fit it back again for u, so now he is willing to fit my uprated fuel pump for free.
Question is should i ask for my money back and never go back to him, or should i get the free fitting and continue using him?

Anyway the car looks like this now.

wow i got a right diagnosis

personally i think you should go elsewhere, anyone with some common sense(except Ginga  ) would look ar your car and think "did i fit those the right way round"
Is this the kind of person you want fitting your pump that is vital to get right.
I think not

choice is yours though :D
