Head Gasket

Hi all,

am in the process of ordering a head gasket but unsure if I need an 87mm or 88mm bore diam, as the block doesn't need boring does anyone have any Ideas on this?...

he was askig about bore diameter :roll: not thickness :wink:

don't know the answer though :oops: but i'm sure ginga will be along soon to answer :wink: :lol:

:oops: you need a head gasket as close to the bore size as possible so 87mm in your case (other wise it can fcuk your head and block :oops: )

Not so :wink: any small gap(especially one with sharp edges.) where air fuel mix can get trapped leaves the possiblity of det especially on high boosted engines.
