why dont you take deposits andy (refundable if you dont get the numbers) otherwise those that do want to go will miss out as places will be filled!

The cost for passengers is £10 iirc for the whole day, which is paid on the day.
Deposits for the event will be £20 into the GTiROC account.

Can i pay my deposit (maybe even the lot) in August Andy? That way i can sort my car out for it.
This is going to be my first track day so not really no what prep. Im guessing ill need fresh oils/ fluids etc. After i will need new tires, pads and new oils/fluids??

ENGINE & ENGINE COMPARTMENT
1. Change/check Oil
2. Change oil filter
3. Check battery mounts
4. Check spark plugs
5. Check battery fluid level
6. Check fan belts
7. Check all hoses, hose clamps & fuel lines
8. Check coolant
9. Mount catch tank for coolant & engine breather
10. Check engine mounts for cracks or failure
GEARBOX, CLUTCH & DRIVETRAIN
1. Check oil in gearbox and differential, top or renew
2. Check for gearbox & diff leaks
3. Adjust clutch pedal play
4. Check clutch cable/hose
5. Check clutch cylinders for leakage
6. Bleed clutch hydraulics
SUSPENSION
1. Check wheel bearings
2. Check shock/dampers for leakage
3. Check front & rear wheel alignment
4. Check rear hub nuts for tightness
5. Check wheels for cracks
6. Check tires for condition & tread depth
BRAKES
1. Flush & bleed brake system
2. Renew pads & shoes (spares if needed)
3. Bed in new pads & shoes
4. Check rotors for warpage
5. Check all cylinders, calipers for leakage, restore as needed
INTERIOR & TRUNK
1. Check seat belt mounts
2. Check seat mounts
3. Remove all loose objects in the passenger compartment, glove box & boot

I've not driven a car in ages, my R is without MOT, has stuff wrong with it and I'll only have been back in the country a month so I reserve the right to drive like a complete "gaylord" but I'll see you there anyway :lol:. Anyone who is unsure about coming for fear of their car's or their own ability, don't be scared. I'm hoping to help Andy make this a a good day for everyone whether you want to set a new track record, have a play on track or get your first experience.
Between us we hope to bring tools, jacks and few bits of simple setup equipment. If we get there early we will hopefully get a garage in the pitlane. Between us all we can then fix or tweak any cars during the day.
I know Andy is also trying to organise a few other things to help make the day more comfortable.
For those who are concerned don't be, please sign up, come a long and just take it easy!
