that was jason plato on driven, driving a pulsar, cosworth & scooby. iirc it was jasegoulds old car?

never heard of topgear test driving the R, & was lead to belive the danny fennel race was formed of several runs because the viper kept winning, dont know the truth in it though...

i think it was true but if you watch it he didnt launch it at all:? so if the gearbox was upto it he could have beaten it by more 8)

Never been an R on TG. Someone needs to get in touch tho and let the stig give the R a blatting round their track! Would be interesting to see the times compared to some of the expensive drivel they test drive!! :thumbsup:

That would be shithot, something standardish i.e. 1-1.2 bar with a handling kit would be well interesting to see against the new poobaru's and evo's.

:roll: I think its a good idea, the modded car leaderboard e mail some other clubs? will have to keep out all the tuning company cars though ? i for one am getting a little sick of seeing the latest 911 shave .001 seconds of its lap time thanks to its "improved" carbon fibre, erm, lighter surround. it will give the "super car " drivers a right kick up the jacksie.

well, until they look across at there super model girlfriends and see us out of there windows eating chips in the rain anyway :doh:

would be good to see a comparison between all the standard 4wd cars of the same age, Integrale, Cosworth, Evo etc, would settle a lot of arguments :D

or just say fifth gear already featured 1 and how much of a better program it is. the bbc and topgear h8 loosin to 5th gear and channel 5
